About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Will I qualify for the 144 hour visa?

I'm a Canadian Passport holder going on a cruise of Japan and Asia, spending one day in Shanghai. The ports before and after Shanghai are in Japan. Am I eligible for the 144 hour transit visa?

No, you’re not in transit to a third country. You need a visa.
