Flight from China to Taiwan qualify as leaving China?

Hello I'm applying for a 90 day china Visa and need to book a flight leaving China to qualify. If I book a flight from Mainland china to Taiwan would this satisfy the requirement that I have a flight out of China before the entry permit expiry? I know that China regards Taiwan as part of China but not so when counting number of entries into mainland China so I can't find a definitive answer on the question. Thanks in advance.
