About:China Visa Exemption

Do I need a transit visa? Hi, I am a Pakistan passport holder

going to USA from South Korea, transiting through Shanghai (PVG). Seoul-->Shanghai-->USA. I have 15 hours stay at PVG airport. Please let me know if I am allowed to stay in the airport transit area during this time. Thanks very much in advance

Yes, you need to apply for it because you won't qualify for free transit in mainland China.
