About:Hong Kong - Zhongshan Ferry

Is a visa for Hong Kong required if you land in HK and want to transfer directly to mainland China?

My partner is Syrian and although we hold residence permits for China he is not permitted to enter HK without a visa.

So you will not enter HK? In that case, no bias is needed.
