About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Business trip. My route is:

London - Tokyo - Beijing (3 days) - Guangzhou (1 day) - Hong Kong - London

Is that ok or can I only have one of Beijing/Guangzhou?

You’d need a visa for that. Two stops in China limits you to 24 hours transit without visa.
