Resident in Japan, travel just for three days to China

Hi!

I am a French national (elligible for this policy), I live in Japan and I plan to go visit a friend in China. I am going from Japan to China and back to Japan; I am not going to a third party country. Am I eligible for the 72h free transit?

Thanks!

No, because that's obviously not a transit. You need a visa.
