About:Chongqing Railway Station

72 hour VISA for short trip from Hong Kong to Beijing

I hold a US passport. I am visiting Hong Kong for a week but want to visit the Great Wall and the Terra Cota warriors for 2 days. Can I fly from Hong Kong to Beijing on Sat, 6/16 and fly back to Hong Kong on Tues 6/19 using the 72 hour free VISA?

I am afraid that you cannot apply for 72-Hour Visa Free if your flight route is Hong Kong - Beijing - Hong Kong. Besides, Terracotta Warriors is not in Beijing. 72-Hour Visa Free is applied to when you fly from one country to another country and transit in one of the eligible areas in China.
