About:China Visa Application in UK
Only staying on busines for 3days do I need a visa? Age is 72

So you are a UK citizen? If you come to Mainland China from country A and then head to country B after 3-day stay, no visa is required to enter China, and just apply for a 240h visa-free stay permit upon arrival; but if you have a round trip between UK and Mainland China, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.0
