extend the temporary residence permit(trp)

Hello, My TRP will expire in July as my study will be finished, however, I got an internship in the different city until the end of August. Is it possible for me to apply for an extension of TRP or I will need to apply for a new visa?

Hi, if it is a paid internship, I’m afraid you need to change your current visa into a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. You are advised to contact the local PSB to confirm this and inquire the details before you do that.
