About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours free transit.

Hello.
A Russian citizen flying from Bali through Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai and then from Shanghai to Moscow. Two different airlines (AirAsia and Aeroflot ~ two tickets) with stop in Shanghai from August 3rd to August 6th. Is this eligible for 144 hour free transit in Shanghai?
