x1 to q1 visa

hello i am going to marry my chinese girlfriend and i am having x1 at the moment is this possible to get residence permit of spouse visa without exit ? a friend did this but he was having z.

Hi, it's possible for you to change the X1 type into Q1 type and get residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. Just give it a try.
