About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling to USA From Philippines Through Xiamen, China

I am American and will be traveling with my Filipino fiancee and step-daughter to America in mid-June. We have a 5-hour layover in Xiamen, China before our connecting flight to Los Angeles and will not be leaving the airport. I am American traveling on a USA Passport. My fiancee and future step-daughter are traveling on Philippines Passports. Do any of us need transient visas if we are not planning on leaving the airport?

Thank you so much for helping clarify my confusion.

Hi, you don't need it because all of you can enjoy 24 hr direct transit in Xiamen. Don't worry.
