About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

I am flying from Vancouver, Canada to Tokyo and staying in Tokyo for 3 days.

I have a separate one-way air ticket from Tokyo to Beijing where I will stay for 3 days. I then fly back to Canada direct from BJ. Do I qualify for a 72 or 144 hour visa free transit?
