is it possible to get a work visa without leaving the country ?

Hi. I would like to ask, now i'm in China, i have a business M, but I received working invitations from Chinese company. I'd like to work with them. They can provide all necessary documents for working visa. Is it possible to issue this entry permit without leaving China? Or i need  definitely back to my country?

At present it is possible to get a work Z without your leaving China mainland. The only problem is that it takes quite a long time and your M cannot cover the whole period. If you can extend your M locally, it will be great. Your original bachelor degree and No-criminal record certificate are subject to notarization and authentication.
