About:China Transit Visa

Do I need transit visa for two China country stopovers?

My partner and I are flying from Amsterdam back to Auckland, NZ and there are two stop overs in China (Beijing for 2hrs, then Guangzhou 2.5hrs) - will we require a transit visa? I tried asking the Chinese consulate in NZ so many times but there is a lack of response.
Forgot to mention we are New Zealand passport holders

Hi, you don't need to apply for it because you are able to use the 24 hr direct transit in mainland China. Nice trip.
