Hi, Can I apply entry permit online? I hold a UK passport, and My Husband with a Malaysian Passport. We will be travelling from UK flying in to Shanghai Pu Dong on the 28th June 2018 (1.20am) , and will be boarding from Shanghai Boashan on the 28th June 2018 (4.45pm) on a Cruise for 5 days, and Return to BoaShan on the 3rd July 2018 and striaght to Shanghai Pu Dong Airport to Fly back to UK. What Visa do I need for this trip? Please kindly advice.

Toni, you are eligible for free transit in Shanghai in both directions. But you husband cannot enjoy it, and he needs to apply for double entries transit G type for that beforehand. You cannot make the application online, you should do that in person from the CVASC in your country.
