transit visa query. i have an indian passport

Question

I am traveling from singapore to mexico city via beijing. my layover in beijing is 12 hours and the next flight is from a different terminal in beijing PEK. Am i allowed to exit the airport for a few hours and then go to the other terminal ? My flights are -Singapore-Beijing (Air china) and then beijing to mexico (hainan airline)Thanks for your reply in advance.

You qualify for the 24 hr direct transit in Beijing, and you are allowed to exit the airport for a few hours and then go to the other terminal. Nice trip.
