About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong to Shanghai then to Sydney via Hong Kong

I plan to fly to Shanghai after having had a holiday in Hong Kong and then return to Sydney with a transit (2 hours) in Hong Kong. I will not leave Hong Kong airport before flying onto Sydney and would like to know if I am eligible for a 144 hour free transit

Colin, do you mean you will travel like Hong Kong-Shanghai-HK-Sydney? If yes, you need to apply for a visa for that beforehand because you cannot use the free transit.
