visa entry validity

Hi there, I was issued with a 2 year multiple entry visa in May 2017 exp April 2019 , my trip was then cancelled. I am now looking to travel again there for business next month. Will that one still be valid? Is there a time limit in which you have to use the entry permit after first issue?
