About:China Private Visit Visa

I am a student currently studying in the UK.

Hi,
My parents are Indian and work in China since the last 10 years, I had a residence entry permit too but now since I am 18 I can no longer be dependant on them.

1) What visa should I apply for?
2) What documents do I submit?
3) Apart from an original birth certificate do I need to submit a marriage certificate of my parents?

Alisha, if you want to visit your parents in mainland China, you can apply for an S type for that. You need to provide passport and the copy, a passport-style photo, a completed application form, residence permit in UK, an invitation letter from your parents and copy of the inviter's passport and Chinese residence permit, as well as your birth certificate. No need to submit a marriage certificate of your parents.
