About:Visa Policy of China

Is a visa needed when staying in Shanghai for ~90 hours?

I'm going to Shanghai from USA, arriving Thursday, May 24th at 6:35 PM, departing May 28th at 11:45. This is ~90 hours. Is a entry permit needed & if so, how do I get one?

If you are flying USA-Shanghai-USA then you need a visa. You apply for it via your nearest visa office based on your state of residence.
