About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24-hr TWOV with Malaysian passport

I will be flying Sydney-Guangzhou-Tokyo in June. The time between landing in Guangzhou and departing for Tokyo is approximately 4 hrs. Do I apply for a 24-hr TWOV? I have a Malaysian passport.

No, you cannot apply for a 24-hr TWOV. You are supposed to apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
