About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

i'm travelling to Kuala Lumpur to Vancouver via Air China

Dear Sir, I have a layover at Beijing for 18 hours before my transit flight fr Beijing to Vancouver.
Can I visit Beijing town without a visa or is there voa and what is the cost? Thank you

Hi, you cannot enjoy visa-free transit in Beijing, and you cannot get a VOA for the trip. You are supposed to apply for a visa for this trip beforehand.
