About:Marriage Registration in China

Resident and Foreigner Marriage

If a resident of China, who is not a citizen, marries someone from another country (America for example) will the American be able to then stay and live in china with the resident of China

If one of the spouses has Chinese residence permit, another spouse can apply for an S1 type visa, and then apply for a Chinese residence permit. Then, they can stay and live in china together.
