About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Traveling to meet family members

Good day, I am planning to visit cousins in Guangzhou in late August, most likely flying into Hong Kong. Which Visa should I be getting, one for China or Hong Kong? I thought it would be Q2, is that correct? Also, if I arrange all my documents in the next month, will approximately 4 weeks be enough time to go into the city (Toronto) to get my entry permit? Thank you.

Hi, if your cousin has Chinese passport, maybe you cannot apply for a q2 type for that. Personally I think you can apply for a tourist L type if it's a short time visit, and the processing time is around four working days if you have all the right documents. You don't need to apply for a visa for HK.
