About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24-hr TWOV with Australian passport

I have a Sydney-Guangzhou-Beijing-Moscow flight. The time between landing in Guangzhou and departing from Beijing is less than an hour. Do I apply for a 24-hr TWOV? I have an Australian and Mexican passport Thanks
