About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24-hr TWOV for Philippine passport

Planning to book Air China flights SIN-PEK-ULN with a 17-hr layover in PEK. I have a Philippine passport. Can I avail of the 24-hr TWOV and get temporary stay permit on arrival and exit the airport and stay overnight in a hotel in Beijing? (Can show an actual proof of hotel booking.) Thanks!

Hi, you can avail of the 24-hr TWOV and get temporary stay permit on arrival and exit the airport and stay overnight in a hotel in Beijing. No need to worry.

thanks! i'm confused though - where you get the temporary stay permit is different and after you get the TWOV? is there guarantee to this temporary stay permit as long as you have a hotel reservation and onward ticket? i'm just worried if they won't grant me this that the hotel have already been reserved and paid for

Hi, if you want to leave the airport, upon arrival, you should follow the direction signs to find the immigration office where you can apply for the TWOV and temporary stay permit (they may be the same thing). Just have your arrival card, air tickets and passport ready.
