z visa extension

Hi! My husband had a z which will expire within a week and his work permit already expired now his institute applying for new work permit. He needs now visa extension is it possible to get 1-2 months extension

Hi, based on what I know, the extended time won't exceed the original duration of stay. So if his work Z type was originally valid for over 2 months, it's possible to get 1-2 months extension.
