Whats needed from me to travel to china

Hi im planning in travelling to china for shopping and touring.i have a friend in china to gibe me accomodation.What is required from me for me to be able to travel?

You can apply for a Chinese tourist L type for that, and you need to prepare your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and a passport-style photo, round trip air tickets, and hotel booking record or an invitation letter from your friend and the bank statement with no less than 40,000 pulas remaining sum.
