About:Shanghai Transportation

I flew from uk to shanghai and stayed for three nights before boarding cruise to japan.

I used the 144h rule for visa free.... currently on cruise which goes back to SH where I will stay another night before flying back to uk. This obviously exceeds 144h rule but as I left SH I assume I can just apply for another visa waiver on my arrival back at the port?! Please help!

Yes, you got it! For your second stay, if the whole time is no more than 24h, you can enjoy a 24h visa free transit; otherwise, you need to apply for a 144h visa free transit again!

Thanks. Unfortunately it will be closer to 48 hours but that’s fine - the application was hassle free - I just wanted to check that it was going to be allowed!!
