About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Hong Kong - Shanghai - Macau - Beijing - Fort Lauderdale (USA)

Hello I am planning to visit Hong Kong from April 26 to May 1, Shanghai from May 1 to May 4, Macau from May 4 to May 6, Beijing from May 6 to May 9, and depart from Beijing back to Fort Lauderdale on May 9. With this itinerary would I be eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit on when I visit Shanghai and Beijing? Thanks

I’m just a fellow traveller but I believe the answer is you can use the visa free system. For this purpose, HK counts as a “third country”. So you’re “transiting” from HK to PRC then to US.
