About:Visa Policy of China

Do you need a Visa for travel to Beijing from the US - 3 days and a few hours

Do you need a Visa for travel to Beijing from the US arriving on Sunday, April 22 at 2:45 pm departing Beijing on Wednesday, April 25 at 4:50 pm? Traveling for business.

If you are not in transit to a third country you absolutely will need a visa no matter how long your stay will be.

Thank you! Follow up question...do you need to submit the actual passport with the Visa application or just a copy of the information page? The passport doesn't expire until 2020 and it has several blank pages.

If not using a travel agent, then you need to visit the embassy/consulate responsible for your jurisdiction and you do have to hand the actual passport in.
