About:Visa Application for Children Born in US with Chinese Parents

China Travel Document

Hi i am Chinese national by naturalization holding Hong Kong passport. I am currently working in US and required to travel to china for work. I am therefore looking for china travel document (since my home return permit is not ready yet and in process). My agent advised that i have to physically go to nearest Chinese consulate (Washington DC) and apply for china travel document. Can you please guide me how long does it take since i have to fly to Washington DC (from Charlotte) and if it is possible to obtain it same day ?
What are required documents to produce ?

It's possible you obtain it after 1 working day. You need to prepare a completed application form, and 4 passport-style photos, Chinese ID card or residence permit in the US, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary, and then submit the application to the China embassy.
