Joining Celebrity Cruise Ship in Shanghai

Our group is traveling to Shanghai on Oct. 25/2018 and then join a cruise ship on Oct. 27 cruising to Beijing, dock in Beijing Oct. 30-31, leave Beijing on Nov. 1 cruising to Seoul, Korea. Would this trip qualify for the 144 hr free transit or a 15 day visa free cruise policy?

You would need a visa because 144-hour transit must not include another stop in Mainland China and the 15-day visa exemption applies to those arriving by cruise with a tour guide only.
