About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Refused to travel

Hi!
I had a flight from London to Frankfurt to Shanghai on 20 th of March , arriving there on 21st of March with return ticket on the 27 of March Shanghai-beijing- London and Lufthansa refused to let me travel saying I am not eligible for this 144 hour visa because on the return flight there is a stop in Beijing. Are they right or wrong? Also I have a Romanian passport. Manny thanks, George

Yes Lufthansa was correct as you can´t have 2 stops in China when you travel on the 144h twov.

Yes, it was for 5 days only, just the return from Shanghai was direct to Heathrow, and British airways didn't allow this. In fact nine of the stuff from British airways (even I spoke with 2 managers) didn't knew about this 144 hours visa
