Can I submit a hotel reservation in a friend's name for my visa since we will share a room?

Hello, I am meeting a friend in China and will share her hotel room for the duration of my trip. The reservation will be in her name. Can I submit my friend's hotel reservation as proof of accommodation for my application?

Hi, maybe you can use it for the application, but I cannot guarantee that. You can ask your friend in China to send an invitation letter for you, and then you don't need the hotel reservation for the application.
