Cruise with stopover 1 night in Beijing - visa free?

Hi, we come from Germany and booked a cruise starting from Singapore (over Vietnam, Hongkong, South Korea) to Beijing, where we have one night before we return to munich. Do we need entry permit or is this free transit?
