After leaving the Forbidden City how can I get back to Xijiaomin and Dongjiaomin Lane?

As it is in the same area after seeing the palace museum I would like to see either one or both, depending of time, Xijiaomin Lane and Dongjiaomin Lane. What is the best exit to find my way there? what buses should I take or is it walking distance? Thanks
