About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

china 72 hour free transit pass

If I am flying to shanghai from philippines with a stop and plane change in Korea and then fly back to philippines with a stop and plane change in Korea does that qualify as third country , even if it is just a plane change and does that qualify for 72 hour free transit pass , I have a current USA passport
thanks John

You need a visa because Korea-China-Korea isn't a transit.
