I’m going on a cruise leaving from Yokohama Japan and ending up if Shanghai.

I will be docking at 8am and my flight leaves for the US at 6:30 pm. Will I need a Visa?

No visa is needed for your case. The 144h visa-free tranist policy can apply to the route.
