About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am US Green card Holder and currently Living in Yokohama(Kanagawa),My Existing VISA is expiring soon,
Could I visit the Embassy in person and get the VISA on same day for Extension

Do you mean your Chinese visa will be expire soon? and what to extend it in Chinese embassy in Japan?

chinese VISA expiring and need to get Chinese VISA at China Embassy, Tokyo Japan;
Checked and Embassy is asking a Letter from Govt (china) to get multiple VISA - Never needed when I recieved my China (Multiple Entry) visa at Embassy of China in USA
