Visa In Xiamen

I have a Peruvian passport and I am traveling from Bangkok to the US with a layover in Xiamen, China. Since the layover is 23 hours long, I want to enter the country but I don't know if I need a visa for that. If so, what kind of entry permit and where should I issue it since I am currently in Bangkok?

Erik, you are eligible for the 24 hr direct transit in Xiamen by traveling like that. No need to apply for a visa beforehand.
