visiting the great wall for sunset during the layover in beijing

Hi I have a long stopover in the city, my flight arrives at 17.00 and leaves at 14.00 the next day. is it possible to see the sunset or night tour.

Well, the scenic areas of Great Wall will be closed at night. Thus if you wanna see the sunset, you need to find a hotel nearby.Simatai is highly recommended for this purpose and the Gubei Water Town at the foot of the Wall is a good place to stay. As I know, the night tour is not available currently.
