I fly with my family from Poland to Bangkok with 13 hours stop in Shanghai, can I go out of airport to visit city?

It's hard to say that. Someone says in this website: since February, Shanghai no longer allows people with layovers for less than 24 hours to clear immigration regardless of nationality. In some cases, however, people were let in when they showed their hotel booking confirmations.
