About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

15 hours layover from the philippine to shanghai to canada..

do I need a visa go out and have a short tour in the city?I'm travelling with my wife and daughter who is a canadian passport holder but I am still a philippine pasport holder.thanks

Don't get your hopes up. Since February 2018 Shanghai immigration is not letting people out the airport if their layover is less than 24 hours and they don't have a visa. A few exceptions are only made for people switching airports. If you want to leave the airport then you need a transit visa.
