leaving with resident permit

Question

Hi there, i have a question please, i entered china with Z and then turned it into a residence permit , i cancelled my contract and left china with a valid residency permit but i didn't go back to the country, now i'm trying to go back with normal business visa is that possible ? noting that i left with almost 3 months validity in my residence permit means i had 3 months untill the renewal, there will be no fines or whatsoever ?

As far as I know, the residence permit would get canceled by your company after you quit the job. You can contact your previous employer to inquire this. If they canceled your residence permit, you can apply for a new business M type to enter China.
