About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi - Beijing layover

we are flying from Tokyo to Los Angeles USA with 25 hours layovers in BEIJING.
Will we qualify for transit visa on our arrival?

Japanese Passport Holder could layover at Shanghai without entry permit for a max. of 144 hours when the traveler is holding a onward ticket to a third (In this case is USA) country. Hope, this answer your question, Kimberly!

Hi, we are USA Passport holder coming home from Tokyo stopover Beijing to USA, will this VISA apply in this case.

Kimberly, you are eligible for the 144 hr free transit in Beijing. No visa is needed.
