Shanghai cruise with all layovers in Japan, returning to Shanghai

Hi - I'm flying from UK to Shanghai, arriving on a Sunday and then getting a cruise on the Monday with layovers in Japan only, then returns to Shanghai on the Saturday, and flying back to the UK on the Sunday.
Can you confirm that I can get
a) a 144 hour free transit to cover my arrival from the UK, and
b) another 144 free transit to cover from arrival in Shanghai after the cruise?

Thanks

Stuart, you can enjoy the 144 hr free transit in Shanghai in both ways. No visa is required for the trip.

Hi Stuart, did you manage to do your trip using 2 of the 144 hour free transits OK? I sept we fly from UK to Vietnam then into Shanghai, stay 36 hours then do Royal Caribbean Cruise around Japan and return to Shanghai 8 days later where we do reverse trip [stay overnight 36 hour then fly to Vietnam and back to UK.] very difficult getting confirmation from anybody so any help would be very helpful, thanks.
