About:index

I’m going to Mt. Huashan from Xi’an city on 16th April, by Train.

And our train goes back to Chengdu is on 17th April.
So can you please help me,

1. Tell me what the best time to start to mount Huashan and how long do I need to take time to visit that place?

2. When should I go to Terracota museum?

3. Should I find the hotel nearest north railway station or near the mountain?

4. Can you give me the best schedule so I don’t blow my time wandering around.

You should go there as earlier as possible. As I know, the earliest bus departs at 6:26 from Xian North Railway Station. It takes at least 6h to visit the mountain.
To the Terracotta museum, you need to back to XA first and then take tourist bus line 5 from XA railway station to the museum.
You are suggested to live near the Railway station on 16th, and then catch the earliest bus to the museum on 17th.

In a word, here is my advice:
16th: take the train to Huashan- back at the same day and go to the railway station by taxi.
17th: take bus 5 at 7:00 (the earliest one) to the museum and back to XA to catch your train to Chengdu.
