About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Hi, I am flying from USA to Hong Kong via PEK. Will I need to clear immigration at PEK?

Is Hong Cong considered a separate international destination, or a domestic Chinese destination?

No need for clearing immigration! HK is considered as an international destination in that case.

Thank you! So that means I don’t need a separate Chinese Visa, since I will only be transiting for 2.5 hours, correct?
